  • Elizabeth Learning Center K - 12 Math on M/W/T from 1.35 PM to 4.45 PM
  • Estrella ES - K - 5 Math on M/W/T from 1.35 PM - 4.35 PM
  • Figueroa ST ES K - 5 ELA/Math on M/W/T/F from 1 PM to 4.55 PM
  • Hooper AVE ES - 1 - 5 ELA/Math on M/W/T from 1.10 PM - 4.30 PM
  • Ochoa Learning Center K - 8 ELA/Math on M/W/T/F from 12.50 PM to 4.45 PM 
  • Odyssey HS - 9 - 12 ELA/Math on T/W/T from 11.30 AM - 2.30 PM
  • Walnut Park STEM 6 - 8 Math on M/W/T from 1.30 PM to 4.30 PM 
  • Washington Primary Center K - 2 Math on M/W/T 12.50 to 4.20 PM 

Pay ranges:  

• $23 per hour standard
• $24 per hour if bilingual (Spanish or other preferred language based on site request)
• $24 per hour if credentialed teacher or certificated tutor.

 In this role, you will: 

• Provide small group tutoring sessions to students using the provided curriculum and learning technology.
• Manage classroom dynamics to ensure a conducive learning environment.      
• Adapt teaching strategies to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities. 
• Tutoring in Math or ELA or both depending upon the school site.

• Can complete the fingerprinting process within 48 hours of an offer
• In this role you will need to be able to meet DOJ/FBI fingerprint clearance requirements for this position
• You can provide 3 professional references
• You have a minimum of 60 units of college credits
• You have at least one year of student-related experience
• You are detail-oriented and highly dependable
• You are an effective communicator 
• You have reliable transportation
• You can provide a negative tuberculosis test within 2 weeks of being hired
• You love learning, teaching, and empowering others to soar
