Tentative Schedule: 

• "Homework Helper" Mon-Thurs, 3:00 PM TO 7:30 PM or Tues/Wed, 3:00 PM TO 7:30 PM. All subjects, grades 1st-12th. Walk ins.

Pay:  

• $22 per hour standard
• $23 per hour if bilingual (Spanish or other preferred language based on site request)
• $24 per hour if credentialed teacher or certificated tutor.

 In this role, you will: 

• Provide homework help for grades 1-12.
• Provide small-group tutoring using provided curriculum, evidence-based strategies, and educational technology.
• Differentiate teaching strategies to meet diverse learning styles, academic needs, and developmental levels.Prepare lesson plans for sessions during designated preparation time.

• Can complete the fingerprinting process within 48 hours of an offer
• In this role you will need to be able to meet DOJ/FBI fingerprint clearance requirements for this position
• You can provide 3 professional references
• You have a minimum of 60 units of college credits
• You have at least one year of student-related experience
• You are detail-oriented and highly dependable
• You are an effective communicator 
• You have reliable transportation
• You can provide a negative tuberculosis test within 2 weeks of being hired
• You love learning, teaching, and empowering others to soar
