While we work with students across the country, our immediate openings are:     

Location:

• Pomona, CA area (Zip codes 91766–91768)

Schedule:

• Start Date: September 15, 2025
• 8:00 AM – 12:30 PM, 4–5 days per week
• 18–22.5 hours per week
• Tutors may rotate across two assigned campuses within the Pomona area

Subjects:

• Math (up to Algebra 1/Geometry)
• English (through 8th grade)

Position Type:

• Substitute Tutors to start, with the possibility of being permanently placed.

Hours & Pay:

• 18–22.5 hours per week
• $22 per hour standard
• $23 per hour if bilingual (Spanish or other preferred language based on site request)
• $24 per hour if credentialed teacher or certificated tutor

In this role, you will:

• Provide small group tutoring sessions to students using the provided curriculum and learning technology.
• Manage classroom dynamics to ensure a conducive learning environment.
• Adapt teaching strategies to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities.

Please apply only if you:

• Have 1–2 years of prior tutoring experience (required)
• Have a minimum of 60 units of college credits
• Can complete the fingerprinting process within 48 hours of an offer
• Will pass an FBI/DOJ background check
• Can provide 3 professional references
• Have reliable transportation
• Can provide a negative tuberculosis test within 2 weeks of being hired
• Are detail-oriented, highly dependable, and an effective communicator
• Love learning, teaching, and empowering others to soar
