While we work with students across the country, our immediate openings are:        

Location: 

• School District of Palm Beach County campuses
• West Palm Beach, FL  33406

Schedule: 

• In-person position during the school day    

Hours: 

• Part-time
• Tues/Thurs or Tues/Fri for 5 hours each (based on tutor's availability & preference)
• 10 hours per week with the ability to work 10+ hours when combined with virtual opportunities as the needs arise

  Pay:  

• $25 per hour standard
• $26 per hour if bilingual (Spanish as required by school site)

 In this role, you will: 

• Support Kindergarten-5th grade students in ELA and Math.
• Support students in Special Education with IEP's.
• Provide small group tutoring sessions to students using the provided curriculum and learning technology.
• Manage classroom dynamics to ensure a conducive learning environment.      
• Adapt teaching strategies to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities.

• A teaching credential issued by the state of Florida <or> A bachelor's degree accompanied by a Statement of Eligibility issued by the Florida Department of Education
• Have classroom experience teaching or supporting reading instruction
• Have experience with Special Education students
• Have experience using the Science of Reading or willingness to be trained in this
• Can complete the fingerprinting process within 48 hours of an offer
• You will pass FBI/DOJ background check
• You can provide 3 professional references
• You are detail-oriented and highly dependable
• You are an effective communicator 
• You have reliable transportation
• You can provide a negative tuberculosis test within 2 weeks of being hired
• You love learning, teaching, and empowering others to soar
